LA's Foremost On Camera Acting Studio
Our 4 week On Camera, On Set workshop is with award winning filmmaker and director David Rountree. David is set to direct the $6.1 million dollar thriller Descention in the summer of 2018 and uses his acting workshop in the meantime to work with actors. Some of the studio sessions are used to actually showcase parts of the actual scripts from upcoming feature films. The classes are kept to a small number to ensure everyone has extensive on camera acting time. This is an on camera, on set experience and is exciting, fun and incredibly beneficial. Every class is filmed and you are acting in fully filmed and professionally directed scenes with multiple moving cameras. All in a very positive and helpful manner.
David cares about helping actors with their careers. Rountree’s MO is to cast actors from his workshops for his commercials and many of his films! He submits footage filmed in class to other producers and casting agents who are actively casting films. Some of the submitted footage of our actors has led to auditions, call backs and principal roles for many of the actors in other projects! In addition LA Acting Studios recently produced a film and 70 actors were cast in the film from LA Acting Studios. The film was a massive success! It premiered at LA Live Regal Cinemas and has now been accepted to the Cannes Film Festival in France later this year! The film will go on to be screened in other film festivals around the world. Every actor in the film received an IMDb credit and our actors were amazing! All thanks to director David Rountree’s positive instruction in his workshops.
