As you might have noticed on our social media, we've been asking our followers to vote IADB for Tech.co's Startup of the Year title. Many of you have voted, and we were extremely grateful for that. Honestly, it's a great honor just to be considered. Over 150 companies have applied worldwide and just a few of us were selected to pitch at Tech.co's event in Austin during the SXSW Interactive Festival.
None of it would be possible without you, actors and filmmakers, spreading the word and giving IADB's name a good reputation. We love helping you all out with any and all projects you have and we gladly respond to all inquiries. We will continue to do so for years to come. That's our promise to you.
If you happen to be at SXSW on March 13th, come see us at Maggie Mae's - no badge required to attend.
That's not all.
Speaking of badges... go.co has surprised us yesterday with a gift of two gold badges. Why? Just because they're awesome. Once again #dotco comes through for a small startup! It's not our first time getting hooked up by them. We'd love to pay-it-forward, that's why we came up with this offer:
For the month of March, all .CO Filmmakers get a free one year IADB Premium subscription
That's right - register your film project in the month of March and get hooked up with a free one year of hosting along with a shiny .CO domain of your choice. Stipulations are simple:
- you have to have at least one credit on IMDb, and...
- you've got to go .CO!
Once you go .CO your website will grow! Cheesy or not, it's a hookup no matter how you look at it.
Based on the blog post above we'd like to recommend these two additional reads. If you'd like to write a guest post on our site, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
